WIVENHOE TOWN continued their strong start to the Thurlow Nunn League season with a comfortable 4-0 victory at Needham Market Reserves.
Joe Heron netted a hat-trick in the first division contest, while Luke Goldie-McSorley was also on target during a very satisfying afternoon for the Dragons.
Wivenhoe are third in the table and have won four of their five matches so far.
In the premier division, STANWAY ROVERS won 3-2 at home to Gorleston.
Like Wivenhoe, it was their fourth victory in five league games.
Back in division one, BRAINTREE TOWN RESERVES drew 2-2 at March Town United.
