Colchester United chief executive Marie Partner hopes the decision to freeze season ticket prices will help swell the club's future fan-base.
The U's have announced that the cost of a seat at Layer Road next season will remain the same for season ticket holders, with matchday prices also unchanged.
It is likely to be Colchester's final campaign at the old ground, with a move to a new Community Stadium at Cuckoo Farm on the horizon.
And Partner wants those loyal supporters who currently follow the U's on a regular basis to transfer their support to the new stadium, in addition to newer fans.
She told the Gazette: "If we encourage people to come back next season as season ticket holders I'm hoping that this time next season they will consider renewing at the new stadium.
"It'll be the last time we ever play clubs at Layer Road and it's a great footing to take us forward into the new stadium.
"We have to look further forward than just one season. We hope that people will renew and that those who have come to Layer Road on a match-to-match basis this season will come on board too."
