Rhys Healey has made a surprise return to Colchester United on loan.

The striker returned to Wales last month after being recalled by his parent club, Cardiff City.

However, he has now gone back to the U's for a second loan spell.

And Healey is available for Colchester's game at Port Vale tomorrow.

Colchester boss Tony Humes said: "It's great that we've been able to get Rhys back with us.

"He did well for us and knows exactly what we require here so it was an easy decision to get him when it became a possibility.

"It can never do a side any harm to have extra attacking options and Rhys gives us exactly that."
