Soccer: Dour draw for Colchester

Colchester United were left frustrated after being held to a goal-less draw with Burnley, in the Coca-Cola Championship.

The number of goalscoring chances - and entertainment - was at a premium at Layer Road, as the U's failed to score at home for the first time since early-August.

The U's had the better of the chances, with Jamie Cureton and Chris Iwelumo both going close in the first half and Richard Garcia squandering a gilt-edged opportunity late on.
