STANWAY ROVERS are into the last 16 of the FA Vase.
Angelo Harrop’s side made progress in dramatic fashion this afternoon as a late goal from Craig Hughes gave them a 1-0 victory at home to Saffron Walden Town.
Hughes thumped home a low cross from the left in the last few minutes to settle a hard-fought contest.
And his goal was no more than the defender deserved, as he had earlier struck the bar with two free-kicks.
