Colchester and East Essex have clinched the Shepherd Neame Essex League division one title.
Ben Stephens’ side, who won promotion back to the premier division at the first time of asking last week, beat Harlow by seven wickets to claim the trophy.
After winning the toss and putting Harlow into bat, Colchester dismissed their hosts for 212.
And they lost only three wickets in reaching their target within 39 overs, to secure the title and cap a fantastic season in style.
