Ryan Dickson is set to return to Colchester United’s starting line-up for their home game with Leyton Orient tomorrow.
The former Southampton left-back missed the U’s 1-1 draw with Carlisle United last Friday, due to illness.
Youngster Tosin Olufemi replaced Dickson at full-back and produced a competent display, on his first senior start for the U’s.
However, Olufemi is predominantly a right-sided player and Dickson is expected to be recalled to the Colchester side, for the visit of the O’s.
Colchester boss Joe Dunne said: “Ryan is fully fit - he’s done exceptionally well since he came to us.
“It’s a tough decision but they are the sort of decisions I have to make.
“What you have to understand is the balance of the team.
“Ryan gives us a left-foot and with Sanchez (Watt) on the left too, it gives us a natural balance.
“We will consider all of our options based on what we think might happen and where they (Leyton Orient) might play one or two players.”
