Colchester United manager Joe Dunne believes Steven Pressley’s arrival as Coventry City manager may give them a lift tonight.
But the U’s boss insists his side will travel to the Ricoh Arena confident they can inflict yet another home defeat on the Sky Blues.
Coventry have one of the worst home records in League One and have lost their last four games, in front of their own fans.
However, Pressley won his first game in charge of his new club at Scunthorpe and will be looking to follow that up with victory over the U’s.
Dunne said: “Coventry seem to have struggled a bit at home this season but the new manager coming in may change that.
“I’m sure they’ll feel that they have extra impetus from his arrival but we’ll go there full of confidence, after the way we’ve played in the last four games.
“It’s the final game of the five-game sequence we earmarked and we’ve taken seven points from it so far, so if we can add to that tonight that would be great.”
