Plans which could see a building formerly used as a pharmacy turned into a beauty training school have been revealed.

Essex Beauty Training Academy has applied to Colchester Council for a change of use of the building in London Road, Marks Tey.

The building was formerly Marks Tey Pharmacy but is now empty.

The application submitted to Colchester Council said: "We are looking to take over the premises but have to develop it to fit our needs.

Gazette:

"Change of use from a pharmacy to a Beauty Training Academy (industry specific educator).

"We also require additional plumbing to ensure sinks are easily accessible while training and sufficient electrical supply."

Colchester Council will have the final say on the plans.
