POLICE are appealing for information following an assault in Braintree.
Two teenagers were attacked between the Station Approach and Flitch Way by another teenager, who initially tried to grab one victim's bag.
After the victim refused to let go of the bag, several other teenagers approached the victims and began assaulting them.
The assault took place some time around 4pm on Saturday, February 16.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We are keen to speak to members of the public, who we believe may have broken up the altercation.
"Anyone with information is asked to call Braintree's Community Policing Team on 101 quoting the reference 42/30089/19.
"You can also call Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111."
