A MAN has been arrested after alleged indecent acts in Colchester town centre.
Lance Hudson, of no fixed address, has been charged with outraging public decency, failing to comply with a community protection notice and possession of Class B drugs.
Police were informed a man was acting indecently in the town centre last Tuesday.
He was then issued with a community protection warning, stopping him from viewing inappropriate images in the town centre.
But the next day, police received further reports, and the warning was escalated to a community protection notice.
After yet more calls from witnesses, Hudson, 40, was arrested on Saturday for inappropriate behaviour.
He was later charged and appeared at magistrates court where he admitted possession of drugs but denied the other two charges.
Hudson is now due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrate's Court on January 28 for a remand hearing, ahead of a trial set for March 12.
