EMERGENCY services were called to a crash after a van flipped onto its side.
Onlookers said the van had hit two other stationary vehicles in the lower part of Ipswich Road, Colchester.
Police officers attended the scene along with paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service but the man who was hurt did not need to go to hospital.
A spokesman said :”We were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a van and two stationary cars.
“We sent two ambulance crews, a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance officer to the scene.
“We treated a man at the scene, but no further treatment was required.”
The crash happened shortly before 5pm yesterday.
