A GROUP of students had their moment in the judges chairs when they took an exclusive tour of The Voice.
Clacton Coastal Academy pupils spent a day touring the LH2 television studios in London where they watched a live recording of the quarter final of the ITV talent show.
The trip was organised by TV producer Virginia Baker, who took the students backstage to speak with crew members for an insight into a television career.
They even got to observe the dress rehearsal and watch a recording of Jamiroquai and Clean Bandit performing on stage.
The day culminated with VIP entrance to the live show and rubbing shoulders with Strictly Come Dancing stars Louise Redknapp and Daisy Lowe, who they were sat near.
One student said: "It was incredible like the day of a lifetime where everything takes place."
