A BUS carrying Braintree Town Football Club fans has broken down on the way to the biggest game in their history.
The Iron are playing Grimsby Town Football Club in the first leg of their National League play-off at 7pm this evening.
The bus is currently stuck in Lincolnshire roughly an hour and fifty minutes away from the Grimsby's Blundell Park.
A new coach has been arranged, however it will arrive with the fans around two hours before kick-off.
Andrew Freemantle, Chairman of the Braintree Town Supporters Group said: "Well done to the driver Paul Brown or Turners who has worked so hard sorting another coach out.
"We are going to try and delay the kick off if possible. We might just get there before it starts, but any delay would be welcome."
Hope @braintreetownfc defence isn't as leaky as the supporters' coach today! #CambridgeServices #WhatTimeIsKickOff! pic.twitter.com/c9w4GCQRxI
