The Maldon district continues to have one of the lowest coronavirus infection rates in Essex as no new cases have been recorded.
Yesterday (Wednesday, September 9) marked the fourth consecutive day where no new coronavirus cases were recorded in the Maldon district.
The last recorded positive test result was on September 5, meaning the seven-day average stands at 0.3.
The figures are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government’s testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two).
The overall number of infections in the district since the pandemic began meanwhile stands at 154.
A new map has been released letting residents track coronavirus by postcode.
The map reveals that currently every area in Maldon has low levels, with zero to two cases being recorded.
