POLICE are continuing their search for a missing Harwich man after receiving information of a sighting in the area.

Nigel Clack, 60, disappeared on Sunday, January 10 with family and police saying they are concerned for his welfare.

Following an appeal by Essex Police, officers have received information about a sighting.

Essex Police say Nigel was seen crossing the the Parkeston roundabout at 11am on Sunday, January 10.

Police also say he may have had a colourful Morrisons 'bag for life' with him.

Following hos disappearance, police said Nigel is believed to be wearing a three-quarter length leather jacket with badges on the lapels and burgundy tracksuit bottoms.

He is described as 5ft 6in tall, slim build with long, greying brown hair and has a number of facial tattoos.

He is also believed to have links to Ipswich.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "We're continuing to look for Nigel and ask members of the public who live near the area he was last seen to please check their CCTV or doorbell footage.

"Anyone who has seen Nigel or has any information that could help us find him are asked to contact us on 101, or use the 'Live Chat' button on our website https://www.essex.police.uk to speak to an online operator between 7am-11pm."
