A MAN who was arrested on suspicion of fraud in Manningtree has been released on bail.

British Transport Police (BTS) arrested a 33-year-old man on suspicion of receiving stolen goods and fraud on Friday, May 22, following a stop and search at Manningtree Railway Station.

A tweet from the BTS said: “He was given lots of opportunity to explain why he had six bank cards on him in different unrelated men and women’s names but he kept getting his own story mixed up.”

The man has been released on bail until June 15.
