There are just a few days left to apply for funding which could help local causes.
The Co-op's Local Community Fund has raised over £128,500 for causes in Braintree and Witham since 2016.
Now, the Co-op is inviting grassroots projects in the district to apply for funding in response to the challenges of the pandemic.
A survey found found that over 3,000 causes from across the UK shared how the pandemic has affected their groups and communities, highlighting the need for support now more than ever.
The Coop are is looking for grassroots projects that support access to food, help improve mental wellbeing and provide opportunities to young people.
Applications for funding have now been extended to midnight on Sunday (June 13).
The Local Community Fund has supported 67 local causes in Braintree and Witham, raising £128,500 since it began in 2016
