A LONG-SERVING manager is retiring after more than two and a half decades.
Steve Willis is retiring after working at KempCo Printshop in Witham for more than 25 years.
Originally Steve ran his own business before merging with KempCo in 1995 where he continues to look after production, design, and admin.
Managing director, Paul Gardener said it was “the end of an era”.
Mr Gardener said: “Steve will be missed by the entire team. There was never a print-related question he could not answer or a print problem he couldn’t solve.
“I cannot thank him enough for his contribution over the years and sincerely wish him all the very best for a long and happy retirement.”
Replacing Steve is graphic designer David Mears who has worked in the industry for more than 30 years.
Mr Mears said: “Steve has for a long time been an asset to KempCo which has been reflected in the number of customers who have sent best him wishes for his retirement.
“His knowledge of print is remarkable, and it is a privilege to be stepping in his role.”
