A woman is due to appear in court in connection with theft offences in Witham.
Maria Rawlings, 44, has been summonsed to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court to answer five counts of theft, two counts of making off without payment and one count of assault by beating.
Rawlings, of Boleyn Way, Boreham, will appear in court on Tuesday, November 17.
It follows reports of thefts from McColls shops in Witham between from Friday, June 26 and Saturday, July 5.
