A MAN is set to appear in court in connection with a robbery.
The alleged incident happened around 6pm on Sunday at the Co op shop in Church Street, Bocking.
It was reported a member of staff was threatened with a knife and cash had been stolen.
Officers arrested a 45 year-old man within 10 minutes of the incident being reported to police.
Robert Brown, of Saunders Avenue, Braintree has been charged with robbery, theft, and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place following the incident.
He is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on 18 July.
