A FOOTBALL club is proudly wearing new kits after receiving a kind donation from a house builder.
Persimmon Homes handed over £1,000 to Witham Town Football Club's under 14s team to help the team secure a new home and away strip.

"We encourage players from all backgrounds to join us and to feel like they are part of a professional set-up we wanted the team to be wear training kit.
"I feel it will assist in continuing to further the team’s spirit.
"Persimmon Homes’ donation is a welcome boost and we thank them for their contribution."
Phil Standen, managing director for the developer, added: "The football club do tremendous work for the community in Witham.
“We know a gesture, such as providing new training kits, can go a long way so we jumped at the chance to help fund them.
