A MUSICIAN has thanked his mumfor everything she has done for him – by writing her a special Mother’s Day song.
Guitarist Andrew Small, 27, from Colchester, wrote and recorded How to Love as a present for his mum, Giuli.
He said: “My mum has always been a huge supporter of my musical training. She always made such an effort taking me to guitar lessons.
“She encouraged me to pursue a career in music and believed I was talented, although she acknowledges she may be biased.”
The song includes lines such as: “Everything I do is because of you and the love you gave me.
“You gave me life and you made me the man I am today” and “you taught me to be kind and shared your mind.”
Andrew, plans to play the song to his mum today and has also printed off sheet music for her.
He said: “I’ve got a feeling she is going to cry.”
