Colchester Community Volunteer Service is celebrating after its latest minibus took to the road.
The £38,000 bus has been funded by Essex County Council's Community Initiatives Fund and brings the group's fleet to six.
The group runs 57,000 trips a year for elderly or isolated people including journeys to the supermarket, on day trips and to hospital appointments.
Mary Creagh, Shadow Secretary of State for Transport, was at the CCVS transport and Shopmobility Office in St Runwald Street, Colchester, for the official handover.
