AN internationally renowned garden will be opening its gates for charity under the National Garden Scheme.
Beth Chatto’s Plants and Gardens will open their gates on Saturday, March 14 to showcase what can be achieved after such a wet winter.
People can expect to see woodland bulbs, blossom and some early signs of spring.
Visiting on a National Garden Scheme day means that the entrance fee will go to the Scheme’s chosen beneficiaries, with 82p of every £1 raised going to its nursing and health charities.
Beth Chatto’s Plants and Gardens, in Elmstead Market will be opened between 10am and 5pm.
Adult tickets cost £6.95, while children go for free.
