We keep being told the Government has told our council they must build a certain number of houses.
Yesterday we travelled on the M2/A2 through Medway towns and Canterbury in Kent.
All we saw were long-standing houses and many fields.
Would somebody care to explain why Essex has been chosen to suffer all this building work and its associated problems?
Kent also has roads, train stations and nearby airports, so why are they not included in this scheme?
Kent looks a much better place to live than Essex.
If this country was not so overcrowded it would not need so many extra houses, but that is another story.
