A WAREHOUSE formerly used by a print firm which ceased trading could be turned into a dance studio.
Alphaprint Ltd, based in Challenge Way, Hythe Hill, Colchester, called in the liquidators last year after a rescue bid failed.
Now an application has gone in to turn one of its former warehouses into a ballet studio.
The bid has been submitted to Colchester Council by Stephanie Cook School of Dance, which already operates from Headgate Theatre and St Mary's School.
Alphaprint, which had been trading for 38 years, agreed to be voluntarily wound-up before Christmas.
Ipswich-based Bravo Print took on Alphaprint’s name and kept on staff.
Colchester Council will have the final say.
