Escaped snake in Dutch Quarter
A FIVE-FOOT snake has escaped in Colchester’s Dutch Quarter.
The ghost corn snake, called Monty, went missing from its home in West Stockwell Street on Sunday.
Its owner is appealing for help tracking the pet.
Colchester zoo reptile experts said they do not expect the snake to be harmful to humans, but its owner said it will approach people.
