JOB TITLE: Digital Sales Executive
REPORTING TO: Digital Commercial Manager
 

JOB AT A GLANCE: The Digital Sales Executive is enthusiastic and pro-active in growing the territory and category of business they are responsible for. They are confident in their deep knowledge of the products and market place and can demonstrate real expertise in questioning the customer effectively and matching the benefits of our products to their uncovered business needs. The key goal of the Local Digital Sales person is the attract and retain new customers, whilst improving the frequency and value of their existing customer base.
 

CUSTOMER FOCUS: Confidently demonstrates unswerving reliability and excellent principles in customer service. Their market knowledge, competitor insight and digital media expertise is highly valued by their regular customer base and prospective customers which is a source of competitive advantage for our business.
 

PLANNING FOR RESULTS: Recognizes the value of planning effectively. Breaks down targets into key milestones, specific actions and tactics and always has credible contingency plans.
 

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION: Consistently professional, warm and friendly. Demonstrating a natural inquisitiveness in wanting to know what makes the customers’ business tick; uses WHATSUP structure in the form of open questions to encourage customer input, build rapport and empathy – to define the need/problem/issue.
 

SELLING: Consciously uses a sales structure; reviewing progress, refining each element to improve their personal sales performance.
 

INDIVIDUAL STANDARDS: Takes a personal pride in everything they do; meeting customer expectations, personal standards, targets and objectives.
 

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Is competent in using relevant systems in their role
 

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE: Passionate and knowledgeable about the portfolio of digital products they can offer to the customer and an expert in making those products relevant to the customers’ business.
