I am writing with regard to the proposal by a developer for three hotels in Colchester (Gazette, June 20).
Surely what is needed is two new hotels (maybe, are all the current hotels fully booked?) and one hostel for the homeless.
Of course, the hostel won’t make money, but is needed.
