Job Title: Trainee Reporter
The Role:
The Clacton & Frinton Gazette and Harwich & Manningtree Standard, two weekly titles in north Essex, need a trainee reporter for the Clacton office.
The Gazette and Standard titles cover a fantastic news area and have an outstanding newspaper sales record.
The papers are part of Newsquest Essex, which publishes two daily papers and 12 weeklies. The company is committed to providing ongoing training and career development.
The Person
Good organisational skills are essential to the role as is the ability to work well within a busy but vibrant team.
Applicants must either have NCTJ pre-entry qualifications, including 80wpm shorthand, or be awaiting results.
A full driving licence is also required.
