HUNDREDS of people turned out to watch the 60th Brightlingsea Carnival on Saturday.
Floats were paraded through the town before a fun day featuring rides, food and music was set up on the Bayard Recreation Ground in Regent Road.
Chairman of the organising committee Tracey House Barton was glad the rain stayed away for the day.
The winner of the float competition was the disco-themed Boogie Nights.
