A MAN received head injuries in a hit-and-run crash in a bank car park in West Mersea.
The 32-year-old pedestrian was in the Barclays Bank car park off Yorick Road when he was hit by a beige people carrier just after 2pm today.
Police are looking for a white man aged in his 60s or 70s who was wearing a beige jacket and who drove off after colliding with the victim who suffered a dislocated knee and substantial swelling to his head.
Paramedics treated him by the surgery on Kingsland Road before taking him to Colchester General Hospital.
Anyone with information in connection with this crash is urged to contact the Stanway Road Policing Unit on 101.
