FANS of acoustic music can get two for the price of one as part of an intimate monthly event at the Headgate Theatre.
AcoustiCity is hosting duo Dave Ellis and Boo Howard and the Portraits for the double headline folk gig on Saturday.
London-based Dave and Boo have been performing together since 1979.
Dave already had solo success after releasing an album considered by some to be a classic guitar record of the Seventies, getting him on the Old Grey Whistle Test.
In 1979 he formed electric band the Reactors, with Boo Howard playing bass and doing most of the vocals.
They became a duo and released an electric album in 1996, turning to acoustic two years later.
Doors open at 7.45pm and tickets, costing £11, are available from the box office on 01206 366000.
