THE wet weather has won favour with the red river hogs at Colchester Zoo.
The 13 animals love nothing better than wallowing in deep mud and water.
Their outdoor enclosure has benefited from the recent heavy rainfall and staff at the zoo have added a car tyre to give them something to play with.
The red river hog usually inhabits west and central African rainforest, favouring forest, savannah thickets, bush and swamp habitats.
