TRIBUTES have been paid to a car fanatic and pillar of the Tiptree community.
Mike Robinson died at Colchester General hospital, on April 21, aged 67.
He had suffered from a form of rheumatoid arthritis that affected his lungs.
Mr Robinson, who lived at Grove Road, Tiptree, served the community as a parish councillor for five years and was chairman of the working party that helped deliver the new community centre in Caxton Close.
