Abbie and Sara Hubbard put on their Babygros one more time to hand a cheque to neonatal unit sister Karen Moss and premature baby Stevie Killick, now 13 weeks old, but was just over a pound when he arrived
BABY equipment shop staff have raised £530 for the neonatal unit at Colchester General Hospital.
Sara Hubbard, 41, Abbie Hubbard, 17, Kate Rice, 18, and Orli Collins, 21, who all work at White’s Farm Baby Barn, in White Colne, were sponsored to wear Babygros to work for the whole of March Mrs Hubbard said: “We’re really chuffed by how much we raised and grateful to everyone who supported us.
“Wearing a Babygro for work was nice to start with, because they’re so comfy, but by the end of the month, we were all glad to get back to normal.”
The money is going towards the cost of a £24,000 ventilator for the unit.
