What a strange response from councillor Tim Young regarding the appalling attack on 75-year-old Frederick Spinks on the Greenstead estate, Colchester, (Gazette, April 17).
He said: “Until we know more about where these perpetrators are from, it would be wrong to rush to judgment.”
What does he need to know? These vermin crippled an old man.
Why does he need to know where the thugs are from before condemning them?
