All three illegal immigrants who fled onto the roof of a takeaway in an attempt to evade immigration officials have been deported.
The two men, aged 31 and 55, and a 30-year-old woman were arrested when officers from the Suffolk and north east Essex immigration team raided the Water Lily takeaway in Halstead in October.
After officers entered the front door and blocked the rear exits the trio, all Malaysian nationals, ran upstairs and climbed out of a window onto the roof of the premises.
