Fire at the Hythe
FIREFIGHTERS were called to an out-of-control bonfire at the Hythe on Saturday night.
Flames from the blaze, off Haven Road, reached 20feet tall and nearby residents said they were fearful for their homes.
Crews had the fire under control by 7pm and stayed to dampen down the area.
