A PUBLIC meeting is being held tonight, Friday, to discuss proposals for a new quarry in Ardleigh.
Residents are invited to attend at 7.30pm at Ardleigh Village Hall.
The meeting, held by the parish council, will focus on plans for a gravel extraction and transportation site in the village.
Chairman of Ardleigh parish council, Tim Barrott, said: “The public meeting is an opportunity for concerned people to come and speak to the developers who have put forward these plans.
"Based on the numbers that turned out for the public exhibition two weeks ago, we expect the meeting to be extremely well attended."
The consultation period for the plans ends on the 20th October.
