A WOMAN was restrained by police after reports she was suffering with mental health problems.
Officers joined ambulance crews at Plowright House on St Peter’s Street, Colchester on Wednesday.
The patient was treated at the warden controlled flat before being taken to Colchester General Hospital at around 6.30pm.
Chris Lane, Essex Police spokesman, said: “It was an unfortunate mental health issue with a woman in some difficulties.
“We were there to assist the ambulance staff.”
