A PEDESTRIAN was hit by a van on Colne Bank Avenue, Colchester.
Police said the incident, which happened during rush hour traffic, left the 52-year-old male victim with minor injuries.
He was in collision with a Ford Connect van driven by a 59-year-old man from Brightlingsea.
The pedestrian sustained a slight cut above his left eye and was taken to Colchester General Hospital to be checked over.
He was later released.
Traffic was delayed while emergency services dealt with the incident which happened around 5.30pm on Monday.
Police said no action will be taken against the driver.
