Teenager robbed at knifepoint in Clacton

A TEENAGER has been robbed at knifepoint by a gang of hooded youths in Clacton.

The 17-year-old was walking along the recreation field next to Clacton Leisure Centre, towards Valley Road, when he was approached by six youths.

Essex Police said one of the attackers held a knife to the victim's throat and demanded his belongings.

He was punched and headbutted during the incident, which happened at 11pm on Wednesday.

The youths were all described as aged between 16 and 18 and were wearing hooded tops.
