PRINCE Charles honoured the families of paratroopers killed in action when he visited Colchester for a medal parade today.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall came to Colchester Garrison to hand out operational medals to hundreds of paratroopers.
Prince Charles, Colonel-in-Chief of The Parachute Regiment, gave the Elizabeth Cross, named after his mother, to the families of 21 paratroopers during a private meeting.
These included seven to the families of the paratroopers who died fighting for their country during the recent tour.
