DELIGHTED troops and their families welcomed Princess Anne to Colchester for a medal parade today.
The Princess Royal arrived at Merville Barracks by helicopter to hand out medals in her role as Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Logistic Corps.
She gave operational service medals to about 150 soldiers, from 13 Air Assault Support Regiment, Royal Logistic Corps, who had completed their first tour of Afghanistan and then took the salute from the more than 200 on parade.
