Colchester United have completed the signing of Clacton footballer Tom Eastman, from Ipswich Town.
The Colchester-born centre-half, a former pupil at Clacton County High School, has penned a two-year deal with the U's, after leaving Portman Road.
Eastman, 19, made his senior debut for Town on the final day of the 2009-10 season against Sheffield United, at Portman Road.
He has made a dozen appearances this season but not figured since playing in their defeat at Hull City in November.
He did not figure under current manager Paul Jewell.
