A NEW centre in Colchester could help create dozens of new businesses and hundreds of new jobs.
The £2.4 million publicly funded North Colchester Business Centre officially opened today with space for 27 businesses.
And there are already plans to apply for £1 million worth of funding for an extension, at the building on Colchester Business Park, for another ten businesses.
The 7,200 sq ft centre is being run by the not-for-profit Colchester Business Enterprise Agency (Colbea) which has a proven track record of helping small businesses start up and survive with its centre in George Williams Way.
And it is not just the new businesses but the whole of Colchester which will benefit.
