It's going to be downhill all the way for two former SEEVIC College students - and they couldn't be happier to grasp their opportunity.
Ski stars Tom Daly and Nick Brown, who have just completed their A Levels at the Benfleet college, have been awarded scholarships to train with the British Association of Ski Instructors (BASI).
They had included ski-ing as the practical element of the A Level PE course, and showed off their skills on a college trip to Val d'Aosta in Italy to clinch the scholarships.
There will be three weeks of training under a BASI qualified mentor, and if they are successful the students will gain a Grade III licence and the chance to become a ski instructor.
