A teenager has died after the car in which he was a passenger crashed into a stationary lorry.
The 17-year-old driver is in a serious condition following the collision at the Gorse Lane Industrial Estate in Clacton last night.
Emergency services were called to Brunel Road at 10.15pm after a white Ford Escort car smashed into the side of a Scania lorry.
Two fire crews from Clacton and an appliance from Colchester with cutting equipment, attended. The passenger, a 17-year-old Clacton man, was declared dead at the scene.
The driver, also from Clacton, is in a serious condition.
A motorcyclist died after an accident at Heath Road, Tendring, at 8am today.
